We are Ralph and Susanna and this is our experience with Biruni Motors. We were entirely on board with the Biruni Dream. We were and still are enthusiastic about the vision and the Company. The designs and products and vision for the future of this company are exciting. We maintain that there is great vision here but lack of acumen in day-to-day management of the company. Part of the purpose of this blog is to suggest that the management and visionary roles should be separate to insure the success of the company.
We would like to set the record straight. We were never paid for sales nor compensated for expenses. Each of us had always previously and subsequently in similair positions been compensated for sales as per contract.
We were repeatedly told by management of products which existed for the purpose of selling, only to find when attempting to place orders that these did not exist. We also found we had by passing this information along unintendedly lowered the company’s credibility with our customer base. Nevertheless many sales were closed at other ensuing bike companies we were employed with. This failure must rest on the doorstep of management.
Subsequently we joined Greenzone Folding Bikes and had no problem getting many sales there. https://www.greenzonebikes.com. Susanna was Creative Marketing Director for them and gave them a whole new current, trendy presence in the market. In addition to this Susanna placed the Greenzone Folding Tandem Bicycle in the Hammacher Schlemmer catalogue for four quarters generating many sales.

We have decided to describe our experience of interaction with Biruni Motorbike as a sales team 2011-2012 as we think it will be instructive for all the problematic issues of the company which might be solved with proper stakeholder action.
